2012 Eterniti Hemera: details, photos and specs

Eterniti revealed today the Cayenne-based Hemera, the so-called world’s first Super-SUV. Eterniti Motors hopes to provide a new level of luxury and performance in an SUV in order to create a new niche, in a space which Bentley, Maserati and Aston Martin, with the Lagonda brand, have identified for future product. The new company says that it will undergo a complete chassis-up rebuild, including a new, re-packaged interior, and the light-weight carbon-composite re-skin.

Under the hood we will find the 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 (found also on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo), capable to deliver 620 bhp and a top speed in excess of 180 mph or 300 km/h. Although the key element of the Eterniti Hemera will be the interior, this is still in the final stages of prototype testing and will be revealed later in the year.

The firm says that the Hemera will offer limousine-like rear cabin, including twin electrically-reclining rear seats with heating and cooling, twin iPads with wireless keyboards, and a drinks chiller. This means that the Hemera is a car suitable for being chauffeured in as well as driving. Production of the car will start in early 2012. The pricing has not been confirmed yet but Eterniti Motors says that the starting price will be around £150,000 or $236,000.[via : 4wheelsnews]
